Jessica L. Gustafson

Jessica L. Gustafson is a founding shareholder with The Health Law Partners, P.C., based in Clinton Township, Michigan. She provides legal representation to a diverse range of health care entities, including hospitals, health systems, hospices, home health agencies, and physicians. Her expertise spans multiple areas of health care law, with a significant focus on assisting providers through the Recovery Audit ("RAC") and Medicare audit appeals processes. Additionally, Ms. Gustafson offers guidance on compliance, reimbursement matters, overpayment refunds, Medicare enrollment, and other regulatory issues.

Ms. Gustafson is an active member of several professional organizations, including the American Health Lawyers Association, American Bar Association (Health Law Section), and Michigan Bar Association (Health Care Law Section). Within the ABA Health Law Section, she holds leadership roles as Co-Chair of the Membership Committee and Vice-Chair of the Editorial Board for the publication ABA Health eSource. She also contributes to the American College of Physician Advisors as a member of its Advisory Board.

During her law school years, Ms. Gustafson was a Senior Articles Editor on the Wayne Law Review Editorial Board and served as a judicial intern for the Honorable Robert H. Cleland at the United States District Court, Eastern District of Michigan.
