Elizabeth Kamm Abdnour

Elizabeth Kamm Abdnour, a partner at Abdnour Weiker LLP, is a committed advocate for fair treatment in schools and workplaces. Her legal expertise spans special education, school discipline, Title IX, civil rights, disability, employment, and sexual and domestic violence. Elizabeth began her career as a legal services attorney, representing low-income clients in diverse civil matters for eight years. She then served as the supervising attorney for a domestic violence and protection order clinic, a collaborative effort between a legal aid organization and a law school.

Elizabeth transitioned to Michigan State University, where she worked as an institutional equity coordinator and senior investigator. There, she conducted investigations and provided civil rights and Title IX training to the campus community. In 2018, she established her own firm, Elizabeth Abdnour Law, PLLC, to champion justice for clients in educational and workplace settings. By 2023, she joined Abdnour Weiker LLP as a partner, extending her services to students, educators, and workers in Michigan, Ohio, Pennsylvania, and beyond.

Elizabeth also contributes as an investigator, party advisor, consultant, and trainer with Title IX Solutions. Her extensive experience, particularly during her tenure at Michigan State University amid the Larry Nassar investigation, affords her unique insights into educational institutions' civil rights and Title IX obligations.
