Timothy Doman

Timothy Doman is a seasoned attorney specializing in criminal defense and criminal appeals at Grabel & Associates. He joined the firm in 2016, driven by a deep interest in criminal law. His prior role as a Pre-Hearing Attorney with the Michigan Court of Appeals equipped him with the skills to adeptly research and address pertinent issues in criminal cases, enabling him to craft comprehensive legal briefs, memos, and arguments.

Tim's unique experience from both the Michigan Court of Appeals and private practice provides him with a dual perspective on cases. This insight allows him to anticipate the State's strategies, enhancing his ability to develop robust defenses for his clients. His work is highly valued at Grabel & Associates, particularly for his creative and strategic approach to criminal appeals.

In addition to appeals, Tim handles cases involving DUI, drug offenses, and sexual assault. Born and raised in Michigan, he completed his undergraduate degree in Political Science at the University of Michigan Dearborn and earned his law degree from Wayne State Law School, where he was an active participant in Law Review for two years, graduating in 2013. After passing the bar, he served at the Michigan Court of Appeals for two years before moving to private practice.

Outside of his professional life, Tim enjoys spending time with his family, engaging in sports activities, and attending church.
