Jessica L. Gustafson

Jessica L. Gustafson, a founding shareholder at The Health Law Partners, P.C., is dedicated to representing hospitals, health systems, hospices, home health agencies, physicians, and other health care providers and suppliers. Her expertise is particularly focused on the Recovery Audit ("RAC") and Medicare audit appeals process. Additionally, she regularly advises clients on compliance, reimbursement, overpayment refunds, Medicare enrollment, and other regulatory issues.

Ms. Gustafson is an active member of the American Health Lawyers Association, the American Bar Association (Health Law Section), and the Michigan Bar Association (Health Care Law Section). Within the ABA Health Law Section, she holds leadership roles as Co-Chair of the Membership Committee and Vice-Chair of the Editorial Board for the publication, ABA Health eSource. She also contributes as a member of the Advisory Board for the American College of Physician Advisors.

During her law school years, Ms. Gustafson was a Senior Articles Editor on the Wayne Law Review Editorial Board. She gained judicial experience as an intern for the Honorable Robert H. Cleland at the United States District Court, Eastern District of Michigan.
