About Kelly Lambert
KELLY G. LAMBERT, originally from Omaha, Nebraska, completed his high school education at Ottawa Hills High School in Grand Rapids, Michigan in 1981. He earned his Bachelor of Arts in international relations from Michigan State University in 1985, where he was honored as a National Merit Scholar. Lambert pursued his law degree at the University of Michigan Law School, graduating in December 1988 with the Wolverine State Bar Association Scholarship.
Licensed to practice law in New York since 1989, Lambert gained admission to the Michigan Bar in 1990. He is also admitted to the US District Court for the Western and Eastern Districts of Michigan, since 1990 and 2009, respectively. His practice areas include family law, bankruptcy, and state and federal criminal representation, as well as civil, business, and real estate law. Lambert has successfully represented clients in the Michigan Court of Appeals.
In his criminal defense practice, Lambert has litigated various cases, including manslaughter, abuse, felonious assault, sex crimes, drug offenses, drunk driving, and robbery. Notable outcomes include negotiating a nine-month sentence for a life offense charge and securing probation for a client charged with negligent manslaughter.
