Stephanie Hoffer

Stephanie Hoffer began her legal journey by gaining critical insights into trial processes through her work with judges in Kent and Allegan Counties. This role allowed her to observe numerous jury trials and engage with jurors post-trial, providing her with rare and valuable knowledge.

For more than ten years, Stephanie has concentrated her practice on professional negligence, including medical, legal, and accounting malpractice. Initially, she defended healthcare professionals and attorneys in malpractice suits, which enriched her understanding of the legal system.

In 2017, Stephanie and her partner Aubri, who met at a prominent defense law firm in Grand Rapids, established Hoffer & Sheremet to represent victims of malpractice. Their firm focuses exclusively on medical malpractice cases, such as birth injuries and wrongful deaths, and legal malpractice, ensuring expertise in these complex areas.
