Jesse Bergwerff

Jesse Bergwerff leads Parakletos Law PLC in Hudsonville, Michigan, where he provides legal services to individuals, families, and small businesses across West Michigan. His practice areas include probate and estate planning, family law, adoption, business law, and immigration matters. Jesse emphasizes client-focused legal counsel, rooted in integrity and practical problem-solving.

Before his legal career, Jesse served as a Military Police Officer with the 716th Military Police Battalion at Fort Campbell, Kentucky. His time in the military instilled a strong sense of discipline and accountability, which continues to influence his legal practice.

Jesse obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Science Education from Calvin University and later pursued a law degree at Western Michigan University Thomas M. Cooley Law School, graduating cum laude. He received the Distinguished Student Award and the Top Advocate Award for Moot Court.

Prior to founding Parakletos Law PLC, Jesse gained extensive experience in estate planning, probate administration, and family law through both private practice and public service, including roles in county government. This diverse background equips him with a comprehensive understanding of legal procedures and client needs.

In addition to his legal practice, Jesse is an adjunct professor at Davenport University. He enjoys spending time with his family, participating in church activities, and engaging with the local community.
