K.C. Baran

K.C. Baran has been a dedicated legal professional for over seventeen years, establishing his practice in Howell, Michigan, in 2003. His diverse legal expertise encompasses bankruptcy, estate planning, civil and criminal litigation, collections, contracts, employment law, family law, and corporate practice.

K.C. is a proud graduate of the United States Military Academy, West Point and earned his law degree, cum laude, from Michigan State University College of Law. He holds membership in the State Bar of Michigan and the Genesee County Bar Association.

Admitted to practice in the State of Michigan, K.C. is also authorized to appear before the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Michigan and the United States Court of Appeals, 6th Circuit. His career began with service as an officer in the United States Army, reflecting his commitment to leadership and community service.

Raised in Clarkston, Michigan, K.C. actively participated in local community activities, including volunteering as a firefighter. His dedication to public service continues, having served as president of the board of governors of the West Point Society of Michigan and as a commissioner and chairman of the Southern Lakes Parks & Recreation District Commission. He currently holds the position of vice chair of the Fenton Township Zoning Board of Appeals.

K.C.'s community involvement extends to his role as a former member of the Genesee County Board of Canvassers and as a candidate for Genesee County Prosecutor. He also volunteers as a debate coach at St. John the Evangelist School in Fenton, nurturing the next generation of thinkers and leaders.
