About Alesha Burnash
Alesha Burnash began her legal career in Tennessee in 2009 after earning her degree from Florida Coastal School of Law. Initially practicing in family law, criminal law, and juvenile law, she shifted her focus exclusively to family law upon returning to Michigan in 2013.
Since moving back, Alesha has assisted hundreds of families in Michigan with legal matters including custody, divorce, child support, guardianships, abuse and neglect, and adoptions. She currently leads the family law practice at Herbert Machnik Law Firm, where she has been an attorney since 2020.
Beyond her legal practice, Alesha is deeply committed to community service. She has been on the Board of Directors for the Boys and Girls Club since 2018 and took on the role of chair in 2023. In her personal time, Alesha enjoys running, knitting, camping, and spending quality time with her family.
