Charles Schneider

Charles Schneider has dedicated over 36 years to the practice of law, establishing himself as a leader in consumer bankruptcy law. Since 1995, he has been certified by the American Board of Certification, an endorsement sponsored by the American Bankruptcy Institute.

Mr. Schneider has contributed to the legal community by co-authoring a chapter on representing consumers in Chapter 7 bankruptcies, featured in the Michigan ICLE publication, Handling Consumer and Small Bankruptcies in Michigan. His expertise is further recognized through numerous ratings and awards, including a Martindale-Hubbell "AV" "Preeminent" rating from 2010 to 2014 and a 10 "Superb" rating on Avvo.com during the same period. He was honored with Avvo.com's Client’s Choice Award in 2013 and 2014, named a "Leading Michigan Lawyer" in 2014 by the Leading Lawyers Network, and recognized as a "Michigan Super Lawyer" by Thomson Reuters in 2011, 2012, and 2013.

Mr. Schneider is a sought-after speaker and has presented at numerous national and local seminars. These include events sponsored by the National Association of Chapter Thirteen Trustees, the American Bankruptcy Institute, the Detroit Consumer Bankruptcy Association, and the Michigan Institute of Continuing Legal Education.

He is admitted to practice in the state of Michigan, the Eastern and Western U.S. District Courts, the Sixth Circuit Court of Appeals, and the United States Supreme Court.
