Jeanette M. Colella

Jeanette M. Colella has been a licensed attorney in Michigan since 1993, building a diverse career across law firms, non-profits, and corporate environments. She began her legal journey at Culver, Knowlton, Even and Franks, specializing in corporate and real estate law. Her career then transitioned to the non-profit sector, where she served as Executive Director of the Child Abuse Council for Muskegon County. During her tenure, she managed a budget exceeding $600,000 and led a team of 10 employees, significantly enhancing services for abused children throughout Muskegon County.

In 2010, Jeanette shifted her focus to education and training, teaching human services and business law at Muskegon Community College and Baker College. Leveraging her extensive experience, she joined UFP Industries to develop and manage their corporate university, a role she fulfilled for five years.

Returning to Muskegon, Jeanette re-engaged in litigation support and firm management. At Tabono Law, she combines her business acumen and legal expertise, serving as a trained civil and family law mediator. Her multifaceted career is unified by a commitment to helping individuals achieve their goals.

Outside her professional life, Jeanette is married with two daughters and enjoys outdoor activities such as walking, hiking, swimming, and skiing.
