John M. Karafa has dedicated 40 years to advocating for both corporate and individual clients across Michigan's federal and state courts. He earned his Juris Doctor from Wayne State University and graduated with honors with a Bachelor’s degree from Michigan State University.

John is an active member of the family law and criminal law sections of the State Bar of Michigan, the Muskegon County Bar Association, the Ottawa County Bar Association, and the Federal Bar Association for the Western District of Michigan. He regularly appears in Michigan Circuit and District Courts throughout West Michigan, the United States District Court for the Western District of Michigan, the Michigan Court of Appeals, and the United States Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit.
