Shon A. Cook

Shon A. Cook has devoted close to three decades to the practice of law, advocating for individuals in a broad range of legal matters. Her primary focus is on family law, encompassing divorce, custody, parenting time, child support, spousal support, guardianships, adoption, and both pre-nuptial and post-nuptial agreements, as well as mediations.

Shon employs a clear and effective approach to leverage the law for the benefit of her clients, striving for positive outcomes. Her dedication and expertise have positioned her as a respected advocate and a prominent speaker for the State Bar of Michigan and the Institute of Continuing Legal Education. She plays an active role in the legal community by training lawyers and judges across the state, sharing essential insights on family law issues and mediation techniques.

While raising her children in the Whitehall area, Shon also dedicated time to coaching soccer, softball, and basketball teams. In addition to her legal career, she has been involved in ownership interests in three law firms and has completed three marathons, which she considers a significant personal achievement.
