About Dustin T. Wachler
Dustin T. Wachler is a seasoned attorney based in Rochester, Michigan, with a comprehensive practice in healthcare law. He concentrates on transactional and regulatory issues, as well as Fraud & Abuse matters. Dustin provides nationwide counsel to healthcare providers on compliance with the federal Anti-Kickback Statute, Stark Law, and other pertinent fraud and abuse regulations. He also defends various healthcare providers and suppliers in audits by Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial payors.
Dustin graduated with honors from Chicago-Kent College of Law, where he was awarded a Dean’s Merit Scholarship. He also attended the Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law, consistently earning a place on the Dean's List. His academic journey began with a B.A. in Political Science and a concentration in Public Policy from the University of Michigan.
Before joining Wachler & Associates, P.C., Dustin gained valuable experience working with the Cook County Circuit Court in Chicago, Illinois, and the Wayne County Corporation Counsel in Detroit, Michigan. In addition to his legal practice, he is an investor and advisor to several early-stage companies, including healthcare start-ups in the United States and India.

Recently, Dustin was appointed to a three-year term on the State Bar of Michigan's Health Care Law Section Council, overseeing the Health Care Law Section. He also chairs the State Bar of Michigan Health Care Law Section's New Lawyers and Law Students Committee.
