Michael Baird Bennion

Michael Baird Bennion was born in Powell, Wyoming, in 1958 and completed his high school education at Cowley High School in 1976. He initially pursued a career in construction, obtaining a builder's license and managing his own company, focusing on residential and light commercial projects until 2008.

In 2008, Michael decided to advance his education and graduated Magna Cum Laude from Walsh College of Business and Accountancy in Troy, Michigan, in 2011. He earned a bachelor's degree in business administration with a minor in business management.

After graduation, he joined Bebout, Potere & Cox P.C. as a legal assistant and office manager while attending Western Michigan University Cooley Law School in Auburn Hills, Michigan, at night. Michael graduated Magna Cum Laude in 2015 with a Juris Doctor degree, ranking 13th out of 265 students. During law school, he actively participated in the Family Law Assistance Project, representing low-income clients in court on family law issues. He also excelled in mock trial and moot court competitions.

In 2015, Michael was admitted to the State Bar of Michigan and became a shareholder and partner at Bebout, Potere & Cox P.C. His practice areas include Family Law, Divorce, and Estate Planning.
