Jay Tentinger

Jay Tentinger began his legal career as a public defender before transitioning to insurance defense, where he gained significant insights into the industry. In 1997, he founded the Tentinger Law Firm, expanding his practice to include family law while continuing his work in insurance defense.

Today, Jay focuses on assisting small businesses with their litigation needs. He is a member of the Minnesota, Iowa, and Nebraska State Bar Associations and serves as a no-fault arbitrator for the American Arbitration Association.

Jay is admitted to practice before the State and Federal District Courts in Minnesota, Iowa, and Nebraska. He listens carefully to his clients, providing advice based on the specific facts and applicable law to achieve optimal results. His extensive experience in litigation and appeals is a valuable asset to his clients.

Beyond his legal practice, Jay is deeply involved in his community. He served as a commissioner for the Port Authority of Rosemount from 2003 to 2011 and was a planning commissioner from 1994 to 2000. Additionally, he is an active member of the Knights of Columbus, contributing to various charitable events.
