Jerry A. McDonald

Jerry A. McDonald is a seasoned attorney and the owner of the Law Office of Jerry A. McDonald PLC, based in Carver County, Minnesota. Since 2002, he has specialized in family law, business law, estate planning, probate, and criminal law, reflecting his deep dedication and comprehensive understanding of the legal system.

Before establishing his law firm, Mr. McDonald achieved success as a business consultant for over five years, where he refined his skills in strategic planning and client advisement. His career initially began in engineering, working with various defense companies, which provided him with a unique perspective and robust problem-solving abilities.

Mr. McDonald is also an active member of his community, serving on the City of Chanhassen’s City Council for over 15 years. Prior to this, he contributed nearly three years as a planning commissioner, directly influencing local development and governance. His commitment to public service is further exemplified by his honorable service as a qualified submariner in the U.S. Navy’s submarine service.
