Erik Hansen

Erik Hansen, managing partner at Burns and Hansen, brings extensive expertise in complex civil litigation, appeals, and business transactions. Over his twenty-year career, Erik has adeptly handled multi-million dollar litigation in Minnesota and nationwide, achieving success across state and federal courts, including appellate levels.

Erik is a recognized authority in Minnesota's appellate practice community, having argued more than eighty cases at state and federal appellate courts. His leadership roles include serving as Chair of the Minnesota State Bar Association Appellate Law Section from 2014 to 2015. Additionally, the Minnesota Supreme Court appointed him to the Advisory Committee on Rules of Civil Appellate Procedure, where he contributed for ten years.
