James Taurinskas

James Taurinskas has been practicing law in Minnesota since 1972 and in Wisconsin since 1986. He is also a licensed real estate broker, a credential he has held since 1976. In his legal practice, Jim focuses on advising privately-held companies on incorporation and corporate governance issues.

He offers legal counsel on real estate matters, including condemnation proceedings, and provides guidance on estate planning alternatives such as trusts and wills. His expertise extends to elder law, health care directives, powers of attorney, medical assistance, and probate/estate administration.

Jim has been an active member of the Minnesota Association for Justice since 1983, representing numerous personal injury clients over his 38-year career. He also serves on the Minnesota Supreme Court Neutral Roster as an Arbitrator and Mediator, where he is actively engaged.

In addition to his legal work, Jim has twice served as President of the South St. Paul Rotary Club and has been on the Board of Directors for the St. Paul Heritage and Festival Association.
