Ben U Bowden

Ben Bowden is a seasoned attorney with extensive experience in a diverse range of litigation fields since 1988. His practice focuses on Mississippi Workers’ Compensation litigation, Longshoreman and Harbor Workers’ Compensation, and Jones Act / Admiralty / General Maritime law. He also handles cases involving employment law litigation such as EEOC, FMLA, FLSA, the Rehabilitation Act, and FECA.

Ben has substantial experience in Social Security Disability, civil service litigation, insurance bad faith litigation, Section 1983 Civil Rights litigation, premises liability, and product liability. His expertise extends to False Claims Act (Qui Tam) claims and federal whistleblower prohibited personnel practice claims. In addition to litigation, Ben maintains an active mediation practice.

He is admitted to practice in all Mississippi Courts, the United States District Courts in both the Northern and Southern Districts of Mississippi, and the United States Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals. Ben is also licensed to appear before the Eleventh Circuit Court of Appeals and has been admitted to various other courts on a pro hac vice basis.
