Cassandra Harmon

Cassandra Harmon, originally from Madison, Mississippi, is a dedicated immigration attorney serving clients along the Mississippi Gulf Coast and nationwide. Her practice focuses on guiding individuals and families through the complexities of the U.S. immigration system with compassion and clarity. Fluent in Spanish, she effectively communicates with clients from diverse backgrounds throughout every stage of the legal process.

Cassandra earned her Bachelor of Science in Child and Family Studies from Louisiana State University in 2021, graduating with honors such as the Distinguished Communicator Award and placement on the Dean’s List. She furthered her education by obtaining a Juris Doctor from Mississippi College School of Law in 2025, where she received certificates in Family Law and Louisiana Civil Law, and a Pro Bono Certificate for her commitment to service.

Her accolades include the American Jurisprudence Award in Trial Practice and First Place in the 2025 American Bar Association Howard C. Schwab Memorial Contest. As President of the Hispanic Law Student Association, she was recognized with multiple scholarships for her dedication to advocacy and public interest work. Her legal experience is extensive, including work with an immigration nonprofit organization, internships with the Mississippi Attorney General’s Office, and private practice as a law clerk.

Cassandra is admitted to practice in all Mississippi State Courts and the Mississippi Supreme Court. She actively participates in professional organizations such as the Mississippi Bar and the National Association of Counsel for Children. She is also a published legal scholar, with an article forthcoming in the American Bar Association Family Law Quarterly in 2026.
