Charles Corbett Wimberly III

Charles C. Wimberly III, referred to as Trey, has been a valued member of the Perrier Lacoste Mississippi office since 2014. With a focus on automobile and transportation litigation, insurance defense, premises liability, medical malpractice, and product liability claims, Trey has established a strong legal presence in Gulfport.

Trey's legal prowess is recognized by his AV rating from Martindale-Hubbell and his selection to the 2014 Super Lawyers Mid-South Rising Stars list. He began his academic journey at Louisiana State University, graduating with honors in 2000 with a Bachelor of Arts in English Literature. During his undergraduate studies, Trey was awarded the Dean’s List and a full tuition academic scholarship.

He earned his Juris Doctorate from the University of Alabama School of Law in 2003, where he contributed as a Senior Editor for the Alabama Law Review. Before joining Perrier Lacoste, Trey honed his legal skills at Owen, Galloway & Myers for five years.

Trey holds bar admissions in both Alabama and Mississippi, and is qualified to practice before the United States Court of Appeals for the 5th and 11th Circuits. An active participant in professional organizations, he is affiliated with the American Bar Association, Alabama Bar Association, Mississippi Bar Association, and the Harrison County Bar Association.

Residing in Gulfport, Trey is a committed parishioner of St. James Catholic Church, reflecting his deep ties to the community.
