Charles Nick Smith

Charles Nick Smith is a dedicated attorney with a robust practice in personal injury, criminal defense, and civil litigation, including contract disputes and actions under the Fair Debt Collections Act and Fair Credit Reporting Act. Admitted to practice in Mississippi and Tennessee state courts, as well as the U.S. District Court Northern District of Mississippi, Mr. Smith brings extensive legal expertise to his clients.

Mr. Smith joined the Chatham Pittman Law Firm in 2010 and has since become a partner at Chatham Gilder Howell Pittman. His litigation experience spans Municipal Courts, Circuit and Chancery Courts, and Federal Court.

During law school, Mr. Smith interned at the District Attorney’s office in the 17th Judicial District, serving Tate, Panola, DeSoto, Yalobusha, and Tallahatchie Counties. He graduated from law school in 2009 and returned to Senatobia, where he began serving as the Municipal Judge for the City of Senatobia in June 2013.

Mr. Smith has held leadership roles, including serving as President of the Northwest Mississippi Young Lawyers Division. He is also a Public Defender for Panola County, Mississippi, demonstrating his commitment to public service.
