Philip M. Anthony

Philip M. Anthony serves as the Managing Member of Jeffords Anthony, where he expertly navigates clients through diverse tax and legal challenges. With a robust background in both law and accountancy, Philip is renowned for delivering practical solutions tailored to the needs of individuals, businesses, and organizations.

Philip holds a Bachelor of Accountancy Degree (BACC) from Mississippi State University and a Doctor of Jurisprudence (J.D.) from Mississippi College School of Law. During his time in law school, he was an active participant in the Moot Court Board and held the position of Trial Advocacy Chairman. He further enhanced his expertise by earning a Master’s in Tax Law (LL.M.) from Villanova University Charles Widger School of Law, equipping him to tackle complex tax issues with proficiency.

Philip's contributions have been acknowledged within both the legal and business communities. He was named the Best Business and Startup Attorney in the 2020 Best of Jackson awards and was a finalist for Best Tax Attorney, Best Estate Planning Attorney, and Best Local Attorney. In 2023, he was honored as a “Leader in Law” by the Mississippi Business Journal.

Outside of his professional commitments, Philip, along with his wife Taylor and their son Sanders, are active members of Covenant Presbyterian Church in Jackson, where he serves on the Board of Deacons. Additionally, he is on the Board of Directors for the Stuart Smith Memorial Golf Tournament, promoting suicide prevention and scholarships for Madison County students in memory of Stuart Smith. In his leisure time, Philip enjoys supporting Mississippi State athletics, engaging in outdoor activities like hunting, and golfing with friends and family.
