Stephen Burrow

Stephen Burrow was born in New Orleans but has spent his life in Jackson County, Mississippi. He earned his Bachelor's Degree from Georgetown University's School of Foreign Service in 1988, achieving a Certificate in German Public and International Affairs with Distinction. In 1993, he graduated from Tulane University's School of Law with a Juris Doctor Degree and a Certificate in European Legal Practice. During his time at Tulane, Stephen served as the Tulane Law School President, worked as an extern clerk for U.S. District Judge Martin L. C. Feldman, and was a senior member of the Tulane Journal of International and Comparative Law as well as the Tulane Inns of Court.

Rated "AV" by Martindale-Hubbell, Stephen is admitted to practice law in both Mississippi and Alabama. He is a member of several bar associations, including the Mississippi Bar, where he served on the Medical Liaison Committee from 2007 to 2008 and has been a part of the Technology Committee since 2005. Additionally, he is involved with the Alabama State Bar, Jackson County Bar Association, American Bar Association's Business Law Section, and the American Inns of Court, Russell/Blass/Walker Chapter.

Since 2007, Stephen has contributed to the legal community as a judge pro tem for the Pascagoula Municipal Court. His practice focuses on Business Law, Business Development, Commercial Transactions, and Business and Commercial Litigation. He also has a significant emphasis on Medical Malpractice Defense.

Stephen is an active educator, having delivered lectures and continuing education classes on topics such as "Business Law for the Practicing Physician/Provider," "Practitioner Responsibilities under HIPAA," and "Privacy of Peer Review Records." He has presented numerous seminars on LLC formation and operation, as well as on Mississippi's 2010 Revised Limited Liability Company Act. Moreover, he has taught continuing education seminars on "Walking the Ethical Line in Representing Business Organizations" and "2014 Legislative Update and Select Issues in Business Entity Operations."
