Matt is married to Leah Chancellor, a fellow Ole Miss graduate from Hattiesburg, Mississippi. They have two daughters, Nora Gray and Murphey Deems, and a son, Chancellor Colle. The family is actively involved in their community as members of Grace Bible Church.
