Swayze Alford

Swayze Alford has built a distinguished legal career in Oxford, Mississippi, practicing law for over two decades. He earned his B.B.A. in Accounting from Ole Miss in 1984, followed by a Juris Doctor from the University of Mississippi School of Law in 1990. Admitted to practice in Mississippi, he is also authorized to appear before the U.S. District Courts for the Northern and Southern Districts and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit.

Throughout his career, Swayze has provided dedicated legal services to clients across Mississippi, with a particular focus on the Ole Miss community. Known for his expertise in divorce, DUI, and criminal defense, his clients often come to him through referrals. Beyond his practice, Swayze contributes to the academic community as an adjunct professor at the UM Law School.

In recognition of his professional excellence, Swayze was named in the 2015 and 2016 editions of Super Lawyers. His professional affiliations include the MS State Bar Mentor Project, where he has served as a mentor, and leadership roles such as Past President of the Lafayette County Bar Association and the Tri-County Young Lawyers. He is also an active member of the American and Mississippi Bar Associations.
