Charles C. McCloskey

Charles C. McCloskey, known as Chuck, brings a diverse background to his legal practice in Ballwin, Missouri. Raised as an Army brat and achieving the rank of Eagle Scout, Chuck has called St. Louis home for over twelve years. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from Notre Dame in 1990 and subsequently served with the US Army engineers in Germany.

While working as an engineer in Kansas City, Chuck obtained his professional engineer license in Missouri and three other states. His political involvement includes working on the Matt Blunt for Secretary of State campaign for Gravois township. Chuck pursued his passion for law by graduating with a Juris Doctor from St. Louis University in 2001.

In 2002, Chuck ran for State Representative for district 66, covering Affton and South City. He has operated a private law practice for nearly a decade, focusing on patents, trademarks, and related matters. His political engagement continued as he served as treasurer for the Bertlesen for Congress campaign in 2006 and currently holds the treasurer position for Citizens for Competent County Government.

Active in his community, Chuck has been a Pachyderm member for at least eight years, serving as vice president for the program and currently in his second year as St. Louis County Pachyderm president. Additionally, he is a dedicated Rotarian with the Clayton Ladue club and participates in the Missouri Venture Forum and Chesterfield Chamber of Commerce.
