Nicholas Scott Clevenger

Nicholas S. Clevenger has been an integral part of Peterson & Associates, P.C. since April 2005, where he serves as an associate attorney. Before taking on this role, he gained invaluable experience as a clerk at the firm for over a year, focusing on personal injury, pharmaceutical, and medical malpractice cases, as well as mass tort litigation.

Mr. Clevenger holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Criminal Justice with a minor in Business Administration from Central Missouri State University, graduating in 2001. He earned his law degree from the University of Missouri – Kansas City School of Law in December 2004.

Mr. Clevenger is a member in good standing of the Missouri Bar and is admitted to practice in several federal courts, including the United States District Court for the Western District of Missouri, the District of Kansas, the Central District of Illinois, and the Southern District of Illinois.

His practice is concentrated on mass tort litigation, handling cases involving pharmaceutical and medical device claims. His extensive experience includes working on claims related to birth control products, implantable mesh for hernias and pelvic organ prolapse, orthopedic devices like knee and hip replacements, and products liability cases involving glyphosate and earplugs.

Mr. Clevenger is actively involved in professional organizations, being a member of the Kansas City Metropolitan Bar Association, Missouri Association for Trial Attorneys, and the American Association for Justice. He has been recognized for his legal skills with the Super Lawyers "Rising Star" award from 2012 to 2019 and inclusion in the Missouri & Kansas Super Lawyers list from 2021 to 2024.
