Jonathan Sternberg

Jonathan Sternberg, an accomplished appellate attorney based in Kansas City and St. Louis, Missouri, focuses exclusively on appellate litigation. He represents clients in civil and criminal appeals across state and federal courts nationwide. His expertise includes briefing, arguing appeals, and advising trial lawyers on procedural and strategic issues at every case stage.

Since beginning his practice in 2007, Jonathan has been counsel of record in over 250 reported appellate decisions, spanning various legal subjects. He has authored more than 475 appellate briefs and delivered over 200 oral arguments, including 17 before the Supreme Court of Missouri. The total amount in controversy in his cases surpasses $1 billion.

Jonathan is admitted to all state and federal courts in Missouri, Kansas, and Illinois, and every federal appellate court in the United States.
