In 2015, he joined Legal Services of Eastern Missouri, Inc., working as a staff attorney in the Lasting Solutions Family Law Program and was promoted to co-manager in 2017.

Prior to pursuing law, Robert engaged in humanitarian work in West Africa with Jesuit Refugee Service and contributed to a shelter for homeless women and children in North St. Louis City. He earned a BA in French and Sociology from Coe College in 2003. Born and raised primarily in St. Louis City, Robert now resides in North St. Louis County with his wife and three children.
