Dakota Britt

As a Team Leader Attorney at Stange Law Firm, PC, Dakota Britt is committed to helping clients navigate the complexities of divorce and family law in Boone County and nearby regions from the Columbia, MO office. Dakota's approach is grounded in empathy and professionalism, ensuring clients feel supported during emotionally challenging times.

Dakota completed a Bachelor of Arts in Criminal Justice at Graceland University, with minors in Business, English, and Human Services. While at Graceland, Dakota excelled as a captain of the wrestling team and was awarded the Freeman Student-Athlete Award for having the highest cumulative GPA among senior varsity athletes. Dakota also served as Vice President of the Student Senate and was a Board Member of the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee.

Dakota earned a Juris Doctorate from the University of Arkansas-Little Rock School of Law, where they actively participated as a representative of the Student Bar Association and contributed to the Barrister’s Ball Committee. Dakota is licensed to practice law in the State of Missouri.

Prior to joining Stange Law Firm, Dakota gained extensive experience in family law through participation in the Bowen School of Law Litigation Clinic, drafting documents related to domestic relations and guardianship. Dakota also worked as a Law Clerk at a Little Rock, Arkansas firm, engaging in cases involving domestic relations, contracts, personal injury, property, probate, and criminal law, while assisting in depositions, client meetings, and trial preparations.
