Nicholas Scott Clevenger

Nicholas S. Clevenger has been a dedicated associate at Peterson & Associates, P.C. since April 2005. Prior to this, he gained practical experience as a clerk at the firm, specializing in personal injury, pharmaceutical, medical malpractice, and mass tort litigation. Since joining, he has exclusively represented injured clients.

In 2001, Mr. Clevenger earned his Bachelor of Science Degree in Criminal Justice with a Minor in Business Administration from Central Missouri State University. He furthered his education at the University of Missouri – Kansas City School of Law, graduating in December 2004.

Mr. Clevenger is a member in good standing of the Missouri Bar and is admitted to practice in several federal courts, including the United States District Court for the Western District of Missouri, the District of Kansas, and both the Central and Southern Districts of Illinois.

His practice is concentrated on mass tort litigation, particularly in pharmaceutical and medical device claims. His experience includes handling cases involving birth control products, implantable mesh for hernia and pelvic organ prolapse repairs, orthopedic devices like knee and hip replacements, and products liability involving glyphosate and earplugs.

Active in the legal community, Mr. Clevenger is a member of the Kansas City Metropolitan Bar Association, Missouri Association for Trial Attorneys, and the American Association for Justice. His legal skills have been recognized with the Super Lawyers "Rising Star" award from 2012 to 2019 and the Missouri & Kansas Super Lawyers listing from 2021 to 2024.
