Christopher J Finney

Christopher J. Finney established his solo practice, Finney Injury Law, in Kirkwood, Missouri, focusing on personal injury cases such as trucking accidents, auto collisions, wrongful death, catastrophic injuries, and premises liability. Before founding his firm in 2018, Chris honed his legal skills at a large insurance defense firm, where he managed cases from dog bites to auto collisions, gaining valuable insight into insurance company strategies.

Chris's legal journey began after he earned his law degree from St. Louis University. He initially served as an assistant circuit attorney in the Circuit Attorney’s Office in St. Louis, where he handled Grand Jury indictments and felony cases involving gun and drug crimes. In 2012, he joined his family's practice, working alongside his father and brother.

Prior to his legal career, Chris was a teacher and football coach at Regis High School in Denver and continued coaching at St. Louis University High School. His background in sports has influenced his legal focus, particularly on head injuries such as concussions and traumatic brain injuries. During law school, Chris was recognized with the David J. Hensler academic award for his excellence in trial advocacy.

Chris's dedication and skill have earned him membership in the Million Dollar Advocates Forum, an elite group of attorneys, and recognition as a Rising Star by Super Lawyers, an honor awarded to only 2.5% of Missouri attorneys. Chris is passionate about advocating for individuals against large corporations, striving to make a significant impact on his clients' lives.
