Eric Arthur Sokol

Eric Arthur Sokol was born in Saint Joseph, Missouri, where his father, Ronald M. Sokol, was a long-standing attorney who argued before the U.S. Supreme Court in his twenties. At six, Eric moved to the Parkville area of Kansas City and later graduated from Park Hill High School as one of the valedictorians.

Eric completed an associate degree in paralegal studies at Drury University in 2015. He gained extensive experience working as a paralegal in Springfield-area law firms, handling a range of services including personal injury, family law, criminal defense, and more.

In 2018, Eric received a full academic scholarship to attend California Western School of Law, where he excelled academically, graduating with honors and earning three first-in-class awards. His scholarly work, "The Fate of Global Insolvency: Neo-Conservatism and New Horizons," was published in the Hastings International and Comparative Law Review in January 2021.

Admitted to the Texas Bar in 2021 and the Missouri Bar in 2022, Eric now runs his own general practice law firm, primarily serving the Clay, Platte, and Jackson County areas of Kansas City. His practice emphasizes bankruptcy, family law, and criminal defense, while also offering services in other areas and handling federal court cases in Kansas, cross-border issues, and some Texas bankruptcies.
