David B. Cosgrove

David B. Cosgrove is a distinguished attorney with a focus on litigation and trial practice in Mehlville, Missouri. He has a track record of securing significant and sometimes unexpected positive outcomes in complex legal matters. Before rejoining private practice in 2006, Mr. Cosgrove was Missouri’s Commissioner of Securities. During his tenure, he led a team of attorneys, investigators, and auditors in the investigation and prosecution of state securities law violations. He played a crucial role in identifying enforcement opportunities and oversaw the Securities Division’s registration and audit sections. Mr. Cosgrove also collaborated with the SEC, NASD (now FINRA), NASAA, and other enforcement agencies on both state and federal levels.

Mr. Cosgrove earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics, cum laude, and his law degree from the University of Notre Dame. He was honored with the prestigious Lon O. Hocker Award for trial advocacy by the Missouri Bar Foundation.
