Jim James

Jim James, JD, is a distinguished attorney born in St. Louis, Missouri. He earned his law degree from St. Louis University School of Law in 1987, where he was part of the regional trial competition team under the guidance of former Missouri Supreme Court Chief Justice, the Honorable Michael Wolff. Jim has an extensive track record of trying numerous civil jury trials in both State and Federal Courts across Missouri.

Jim has skillfully prepared and argued appeals before all three Missouri Courts of Appeal and the Missouri Supreme Court. In 1998, he relocated to Springfield with his family, where he established and managed the local office of Missouri's largest civil trial firm. His legal expertise spans various professional fields, including medical, legal, real estate, design, and veterinary medicine.

Throughout his career, Jim has represented some of the nation's largest retailers, such as Wal-Mart, Walgreens, and J C Penney. He is recognized as a Missouri Rule 17 listed mediator with the Missouri Supreme Court and is an active member of both the Springfield Metropolitan Bar Association and the Missouri Bar Association.

In his personal time, Jim enjoys cooking, entertaining, golf, soccer, and hunting. Additionally, he shares his passion for wine and food as the host of "Through the Grapevine," a radio show on KWTO AM 560, airing Fridays at 5:00 PM.
