Amy Hereford

Amy Hereford brings a unique blend of religious dedication and legal acumen to her work. As a Sister of St. Joseph for over three decades, she has served in various ministries, focusing on education, administration, and communication. Her diverse academic background includes degrees in science, communication, theology, and civil and canon law, equipping her to support religious institutes in navigating legal challenges and strategic decisions about their future.

Beginning her career in teaching and communication, Amy transitioned into management and administration before becoming a consultant. Her consultancy primarily serves small to mid-sized religious communities and non-profits throughout the US and internationally, guiding them in strategic development and resource optimization to fulfill their missions. She effectively leverages computers and information technology to enhance communication and achieve organizational objectives.

Sister Amy is licensed to practice law in Missouri, Massachusetts, and before the US Tax Court. She actively participates in the Canon Law Society of America, contributing articles and presentations and serving on the Consecrated Life Committee.
