Abigail Coburn

Abigail Coburn is a committed criminal defense attorney in Corvallis, Montana. She graduated from the University of Montana School of Law in 2017, where her selection for the trial team provided her with significant experience in both local and regional cases. Abigail initially worked at a local criminal defense firm before establishing her own practice in 2019.

Her dedication and client-focused approach earned her the 'Rookie of the Year' award from the Montana Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers shortly after opening her firm. For nearly five years, Abigail successfully managed her boutique criminal defense practice before joining Ryan & Miller.

Abigail is passionate about addressing systemic injustices within the criminal justice system. She is known for her strong client advocacy, excelling in courtroom advocacy, negotiation, legal research, and writing. Her clients appreciate her commitment to defending their constitutional and statutory rights.

Before attending law school, Abigail received her bachelor of science degree from Carroll College, where she also played collegiate soccer. Outside of her legal career, she enjoys activities such as hiking, skiing, fly fishing, and supporting the Griz, alongside spending time with her dogs.
