Nik Geranios

The journey to becoming an attorney was not a childhood dream for Nik Geranios. It began when his family faced a challenging lawsuit that highlighted the need for compassionate and responsive legal representation. Witnessing the financial and emotional toll on his family, Nik was inspired to pursue a career in law to offer a different kind of legal service.

Raised by a single mother who faced financial hardships, Nik understands the struggles many families endure. His personal experiences with his parents' end-of-life issues have deepened his insight into the importance of estate planning and caring for aging parents. These experiences shape his approach to law, emphasizing one-on-one personal service and meticulous attention to detail.

Since becoming a lawyer in 1995, Nik has gained experience in diverse legal fields, including criminal defense, elder law, bankruptcy, contract disputes, family law, commercial litigation, consumer law, and estates. In 2012, he established his own practice, focusing exclusively on bankruptcy, elder law, and estate planning. His practice is intentionally small, ensuring clients receive the personal attention they deserve.

Nik earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Colorado, Boulder in 1987 and his law degree from the University of Montana School of Law in 1995. During consultations, he provides a relaxed, confidential environment to discuss clients' unique situations, offering clear advice on matters such as debt relief, elder care, and wills.
