Donald L. Schense

Donald L. Schense established his law practice in Bellevue, Nebraska, in 1998. He holds an undergraduate degree earned in 1978 and a law degree obtained in 1982 from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. Prior to founding his practice, he served in various legal capacities including as an active duty Judge Advocate in the United States Air Force, where he retired as a Colonel. Additionally, he worked as a Deputy Lancaster County Legal professional, Deputy Douglas County Attorney, and Special Assistant United States Attorney.

Schense concluded his military service with the Nebraska Air National Guard in 2009, where he held the position of Senior Staff Judge Advocate at Joint Force Headquarters for the state of Nebraska. His career spans over 33 years, focusing on both state and federal court litigation, with a strong emphasis on personal injury and criminal defense.

Throughout his career, Schense has conducted over 175 jury trials, including more than 20 murder trials, showcasing his extensive trial experience. His approach is centered on providing clients with comprehensive information, advocacy, and assertive representation to safeguard their rights.
