Jacob Zamora

Jacob Zamora is a seasoned appellate lawyer with a focus on appeals in the U.S. Court of Appeals for Veterans Claims and civil appeals in both state and federal courts. He has represented clients before the California Court of Appeal, Fourth District, Division One, and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit.

Before embarking on his legal career, Mr. Zamora served in the United States Navy as a Navy aircrewman. In this role, he was tasked with coordinating tactical missions involving suspected enemy submarines and surface ships, as well as supervising and training flight crew members. His exemplary service during Operation Desert Storm earned him several honors, including the Navy Achievement Medal, Navy Good Conduct Medal, National Defense Service Medal, and Southwest Asia Service Medal.

Mr. Zamora's litigation background is extensive. As a former Public Defender, he has tried serious felony “strike” cases, conducted numerous preliminary hearings, and argued motions to suppress. He has also prepared and argued writs of habeas corpus. This comprehensive trial experience informs his current practice, where he handles veterans’ benefits appeals and personal injury cases across Northern California. Additionally, he has litigated complex civil matters, including personal injury, real estate fraud, contract disputes, ADA claims, and intellectual property actions, as well as family law contempt and restraining order proceedings.
