About Matthew Granda
Matthew Granda is the managing partner of the Claggett & Sykes Law Firm, based in Cold Springs, Nevada. He began his journey in Scotch Plains, New Jersey, where he completed high school. Following his graduation, he enlisted in the United States Marine Corps, serving four years in the infantry and participating in Operation Iraqi Freedom.
After completing his military service, Matthew relocated to Las Vegas to further his education. He attended the College of Southern Nevada and the University of Phoenix, where he earned a degree in Business Marketing. He graduated magna cum laude from the UNLV William S. Boyd School of Law in 2012. During his time at Boyd, he was an active member of the Society of Advocates moot court team.
In his second year of law school, Matthew began working at Claggett & Sykes Law Firm as a law clerk. Upon passing the bar exam in 2012, he joined the firm as an associate attorney and was promoted to partner in 2017.
Matthew's accomplishments include being recognized as a 2017 Super Lawyers Mountain States Rising Star and being named to the 2017 Nevada Business Legal Elite by Nevada Business.
