Luis Ayon

Luis A. Ayon leads Southwest Injury Law with a focus on complex commercial litigation, real estate disputes, and financial institutions litigation in Nevada's state and federal courts. Before founding his practice, Luis was a partner at Maier Gutierrez Ayon. He also gained valuable experience as an associate at Fox Rothschild, concentrating on commercial litigation and contested bankruptcy matters.

Luis's career includes significant experience at one of the largest plaintiffs' firms in the country, where he handled cases involving catastrophic brain and spinal injuries, wrongful death, product liability, and insurance bad faith claims. Notably, he served as the first law clerk for Presiding Civil Judge, the Honorable Elizabeth Gonzalez.

Throughout his career, Luis has represented clients across various industries, including real estate, hospitality, finance, entertainment, healthcare, banking, and insurance. His achievements in business litigation include defending a national insurance company against a bad faith claim exceeding $1 million, prosecuting breach of contract claims for a national asset management company, and representing a national mortgage lending company in a class action lawsuit.

In addition, Luis has prosecuted and defended numerous deficiency judgment and receivership actions for both debtors and creditors. His personal injury litigation successes include prosecuting catastrophic injury and medical malpractice claims, defending borrowers against FDIC lawsuits, prosecuting a rollover case against an international ATV manufacturer, and pursuing multiple bad faith insurance claims against national insurance companies.
