Amy Smith

Amy Smith is a versatile attorney who excels in real estate, contracts, criminal defense, and estate planning. Her client base includes large financial institutions, small businesses, and individuals. She is adept at handling complex civil litigation, including breach of contract disputes, HOA litigation, lender and servicer liability defense, patent infringement, telecommunications, title disputes, trademark infringement, and wrongful foreclosure defense. Amy's criminal law experience is extensive, having served as a Public Defender in Georgia and as a law clerk for the Nevada Attorney General’s Office.

Amy represents clients through all phases of legal practice, from business negotiations and transactional drafting to trial court litigation and appeals. She is licensed to practice in all Nevada State Courts and the United States District Court for the District of Nevada. Her professional affiliations include the Howard D. McKibben American Inn of Court and the Southern Nevada Association of Women Attorneys (SNAWA).

Passionate about legal education, Amy volunteers as a moot court and mock trial judge for advocacy competitions across the Las Vegas valley. As a Senior Attorney for the Clark County Law Foundation’s Trial by Peers program, she mentors middle and high school students to deter them from entering the juvenile justice system.

Amy earned her Bachelor’s degree Cum Laude from Dalton State College in Dalton, Georgia, and her Juris Doctor from Florida Coastal School of Law in Jacksonville, Florida. During law school, she was active in moot court and was recognized by the Florida State Bar for her significant contributions to local government. She also completed over 250 hours of pro bono legal work during her academic career.
