Chad Hansen

Chad Hansen is a dedicated advocate for employee rights, focusing on cases involving disability discrimination, age discrimination, religious discrimination, sex discrimination, whistleblower retaliation, sexual harassment, medical leave violations, and failure to accommodate claims. He has successfully led numerous cases to favorable verdicts, serving as both first and second chair.

Chad's expertise is recognized in the U.S. News "Best Lawyers in America"© directory for Employment Law - Individuals, a prestigious peer-reviewed guide. After earning his degree from the University of Colorado School of Law, Chad contributed to the National Organization for Women’s National Judicial Education Program, which educates judges on issues related to sexual assault and domestic violence victims.

Chad spent three years as a staff attorney at the Maine Disability Rights Center, concentrating on disability discrimination across employment, public accommodation, and education sectors. For the past decade, he has been an integral member of the Employee Rights Group. Chad is also the President of the Board of Directors for Disability Rights Maine, the state's federally funded Protection and Advocacy Agency.
