Chad Hansen

Chad Hansen offers expert counsel in a range of employee entitlements litigation, including disability, age, religious, and sex discrimination, as well as whistleblower retaliation, sexual harassment, medical leave violations, and failure to accommodate claims. With experience in both leading and supporting roles, Chad has successfully guided numerous cases to favorable verdicts.

Recognized in the U.S. News "Best Lawyers in America"© directory for his work in Employment Law - Individuals, Chad is acknowledged by one of the most esteemed peer review guides in the legal field. After earning his law degree from the University of Colorado School of Law, Chad contributed to the National Organization for Women's National Judicial Education Program, focusing on educating the judiciary about victims of sexual assault and domestic violence.

Chad dedicated three decades to the Maine Disability Rights Center, where he concentrated on disability discrimination across employment, public accommodation, and education sectors. For the past ten years, he has been with the Employee Rights Group, further honing his expertise.

Currently, Chad serves as the President of the Board of Directors for Disability Rights Maine, the state's federally funded Protection and Advocacy Agency. He is also a valued member of the firm.
