Kevin O'Keefe

Kevin O'Keefe began his legal career with the Broward County Public Defender in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, where he honed his trial skills by handling numerous cases, including winning acquittals in his first three trials. This experience laid a strong foundation for his return to New Hampshire in 2009, where he has continued to represent clients in a wide range of cases, from DWIs to major felonies, including homicides, as a counsel with the New Hampshire Public Defender.

Kevin's legal education was completed at Roger Williams University School of Law in Rhode Island. During this time, he gained valuable experience clerking at the Pentagon for the United States Air Force, where he conducted administrative analysis and assisted in criminal investigations. His dedication to the legal profession is also evident in his role as a presenter on jury selection panels, sharing his expertise with fellow attorneys.

Outside the courtroom, Kevin is passionate about sports, having captained and coached the UNH tennis team before attending law school. He holds a Master’s degree in Sports Administration from the University of Miami (FL). Kevin is an avid surfer, enjoying the ocean year-round, and is known for his empathy and tenacity in pursuing clients' goals.

He provides clear advice and works diligently to offer his clients options, ensuring they are well-informed to make decisions. His unique experiences, such as riding the bus with homeless clients in Miami and playing badminton with military generals at the Pentagon, contribute to his well-rounded perspective and dedication to his clients.
