Joseph Piper

Joseph Piper graduated cum laude from the University of New Hampshire School of Law in 2013, earning the Intellectual Property Scholar certificate for his exceptional performance in trademark law courses. Following his graduation, he served as in-house trademark counsel at Under Armour for nearly four years. In this role, he was responsible for prosecuting trademark applications and collaborating with business teams to ensure proper trademark usage and avoid third-party conflicts.

In 2018, Joseph founded Granite Trademark Services to provide individuals and businesses with easy access to attorneys for preparing and filing trademark applications with the United States Patent and Trademark Office. He offers these services at reasonable flat fee rates. His experience at Under Armour highlighted the issues many trademark applicants face due to poor legal advice, often leading to unnecessary time and financial losses.
