Jared O'Connor

Jared O'Connor has devoted his career to representing injured workers across various professions, including firefighters, police officers, construction workers, and healthcare professionals. After earning his law degree, Jared entered private practice and quickly gained a reputation for his vigorous and compassionate advocacy. He has successfully protected his clients' rights, secured benefits, and, when necessary, taken cases to the New Hampshire Supreme Court, achieving significant legal victories that have shaped state law.

Jared has argued over 75 cases before the Supreme Court, including landmark decisions that have expanded rights for injured workers, such as recovery for repetitive stress injuries and enhanced job reinstatement rights. Notably, he achieved the first state Supreme Court ruling in the nation requiring workers’ compensation insurers to reimburse medical marijuana costs.

In addition to his legal practice, Jared serves as Governor at Large for the New Hampshire Association for Justice, where he chairs the Workers' Compensation Section. He is also a member of the national Workers' Injury Law & Advocacy Group. His leadership extends to his role as the sole attorney on the NH Governor's Commission to Study the Incidence of PTSD in First Responders and as claimant counsel representative at the NH Workers' Compensation Appeals Advisory Board.
